Lacie D’Alessio is a passionate homeschool educator, curriculum designer, and community builder dedicated to empowering families through inclusive, inquiry-based learning. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology (Child Development) and a master’s degree in Education (Curriculum & Instruction, graduating January 2026), she brings both academic insight and lived experience to her work.
Lacie has been homeschooling her daughter since birth and formally for over three years, blending storytelling, nature exploration, and hands-on activities to foster curiosity and connection. She leads a vibrant homeschool co-op and serves as a 4-H club leader, creating meaningful learning opportunities that center emotional safety and belonging.
At NEVCON, Lacie wears many hats. As Volunteer Coordinator, she helps shape the heart of the convention experience; organizing teams, supporting families, and ensuring every space feels welcoming. She regularly authors NEVCON’s website articles, offering clarity, encouragement, and practical guidance to homeschoolers navigating diverse educational paths. Her Journey Through Homeschooling booth provides personalized curriculum support, legal literacy resources, and community-building strategies for families at every stage.
Whether she’s coordinating volunteers, crafting inclusive content, or mentoring new homeschoolers, Lacie’s work reflects her deep commitment to educational equity, family empowerment, and lifelong learning.
